Puvvada’s family pitches in for TRS victory in KMC polls

Khammam: Family members of Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar are doing their part for the TRS victory in Khammam Municipal Corporation (KMC) polls.
The minister’s wife P Vasanthalakshmi and son Puvvada Nayanraj along with TRS workers have been campaigning for the party candidates in various municipal wards for the past few days. They are making door to door visits seeking voters’ support for the party.
The minister’s wife is being received warmly by the voters, especially the women, who are unambiguous in expressing their solidarity to the TRS candidates contesting in the election. She has been visiting households walking up and down the stairs of every building in the localities.
Speaking to Telangana Today on the sidelines of the election campaign on Sunday, Vasanthalaksmi said she has been visiting four to five municipal wards every day from 8 am to 2 pm and again from 6 to 8 pm conducting the campaign after the election process started.
“The response from the voters is very positive. The residents in the city are very much satisfied with the development achieved by the TRS government and the minister Ajay Kumar, in the city” she noted.
Many voters are even saying that they have no other political party in their minds, except the TRS. All these have been indicating a massive victory for the TRS party in the municipal elections, she felt.
“Vasanthalakshmi’s interactions with voters have been very fruitful as the voters openly admit that they were going to vote for the TRS” said Telangana Jagruthi women’s wing convener, Tanneru Shobarani, who accompanied her during the election campaign.
Though not a seasoned politician she is able to connect with the voters quite easily explaining the voters the need to elect the TRS candidates for a comprehensive development of the city in the days to come, Shobarani noted.
Vasanthalakshmi telling the voters that the minister’s camp office is always open for the public, who want to make a representation and even giving her personal mobile number asking them to call her whenever they have any issue to be resolved, the Jagruthi leader said.
