PV Narasimha Rao’s statue to be unveiled in Hyderabad on June 28
The leader's statue would be unveiled on Necklace Road, which has been renamed as PV Narasimha Rao Marg
Hyderabad: PV Narasimha Rao Centenary Celebration Committee chairman K Keshava Rao on Thursday said the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of the former Prime Minister will be conducted in a befitting manner.
Keshava Rao said that as part of the closing ceremony on June 28, the leader’s statue would be unveiled on Necklace Road, which has been renamed as PV Narasimha Rao Marg.
Keshava Rao, accompanied by Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, MLC Vani Devi, committee member Chandrashekar, MA&UD Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar and Director (Culture) Mamidi Harikrishna visited Necklace Road to identify suitable location for installation of Narasimha Rao’s statue.
