Quick response from police saves woman amid suicide bid in Medak
A woman in Ninsanpally, Medak district, was rescued by Havelighanpur police after an alleged suicide attempt. Responding to a Dial 100 alert, constables reached the spot within minutes, broke open the door, and revived the unconscious woman using CPR.

Medak: Swift action by Havelighanpur police saved the life of a woman at Ninsanpally in Medak district on Saturday.
The woman, identified as Jyothi, allegedly attempted suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her house after locking the door from inside. On noticing the incident, villagers who were unable to break open the door alerted the police through Dial 100.
Responding immediately, constables Varaprasad, Jayanand and Ramesh reached the spot within five minutes, broke open the door, and rescued Jyothi, who was found unconscious. The police administered CPR and revived her before shifting her to the government hospital in Medak.
Superintendent of Police DV Srinivas Rao said Jyothi’s condition was stable and commended the constables for their timely response. He felicitated them for their alertness and prompt action which saved a life.
