Rachakonda Police organise 100-km cycle rally

Hyderabad: In view of the Police Commemoration Week, a 100-km cycle rally was organised by the Rachakonda Police from Saroornagar Indoor Stadium to Bibinagar on Saturday.

Rachakonda Commissioner Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat flagged off the cycle rally which covered all the three zones of the commissionerate i.e. LB Nagar, Malkajgiri and Bhongir. A total of 119 policemen and 23 civilians took part in the event.

Out of the total 142 participants, G Thirupathi, R Venkatesh, Inspector Cyber Crimes, and I Krishna Mohan completed the circuit ahead of all. DCP Sri Narayan Reddy, Inspectors Ramarao (AR), Parthasarathi (CCS) and Sridhar (IT Cell) also completed the circuit successfully.

The Commissioner while addressing the participants said the rally was organised in memory of the police martyrs. He congratulated the winners and awarded them with certificates.

Additional CP Rachakonda, Sudheer Babu, DCP LB Nagar, Sunpreet Singh, DCP Malkajgiri, Rakshita K Murthy, DCP Bhongir, Narayan Reddy along with K Shilpavalli DCP Admin, Srinivas DCP Traffic, Shameer, Lakshmi Narayana Additional DCPS CAR participated in the rally.
