Rachakonda Traffic police issue guidelines on New Year eve
The ORR will be kept closed for Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) and passenger vehicles from 11 pm on December 31 to 5 am on January 1, 2022 in view of safety of road users.

Hyderabad: In view of the New Year eve celebrations on December 31, Rachakonda Traffic Police have issued certain restrictions and guidelines for traffic movement in its limits.
The police said New Year events/celebrations will be restricted in resorts, parks, hotels, bars, pubs and public places and advised general public to stay home safely and restrict their movement.
The ORR will be kept closed for Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) and passenger vehicles from 11 pm on December 31 to 5 am on January 1, 2022 in view of safety of road users. Medium and Heavy Goods vehicles will however be allowed while only bonafide passengers travelling to the airport in LMVs will be allowed on ORR, subject to production of tickets.
Meanwhile, Kamineni flyover, LB Nagar flyover, LB Nagar underpass, Chinthalkunta underpass and Sagar Ring Road flyover from one side i.e., LB Nagar to Manda Mallamma will be kept closed for LMVs, two-wheelers and passenger vehicles from 10 pm to 5 am. Sagar Ring Road flyvoer from Manda Mallamma to LB Nagar side will however be opened as works on another flyover are under progress.
