Rachakonda Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for the Grand Bathukamma celebrations at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium, where over 10,000 women will participate in a Guinness World Record attempt. Commuters are advised to use alternate routes, and special parking has been arranged.

Officials stated that the traffic police are carrying out special drives to curb the use of modified or altered silencers, which not only contribute to noise pollution but also pose a risk to the safety of other road users.

RTP officials said the special drive was conducted with special focus on tinted glasses on cars.

The live organ was transported from Kamineni Hospital, LB Nagar to Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad.

Rachakonda Traffic Police officials requested them to make number plates only as per the guidelines mentioned under the MV Act rules

The police booked a total of 964 cases, including 149 criminal cases during a special drive against irregular number plates.

The special drive was held against vehicles owners who were driving without number plate, improper and irregular number plates

Anticipating traffic congestion between 4pm and 10pm on Friday, the Rachakonda Traffic Police requested citizens coming from Vijayawada, Suryapet and Nalgonda towards Hyderabad to proceed on Highway via Bhongir – Nalgonda Road.

The drive was taken up on all major thoroughfares in Rachakonda including the Choutuppal and Narayanpur road.
