Hyderabad: A total of 180 band staff are participating in the 10th All India RPF Band Competition being hosted by South Central Railways (SCR) at Railway Protection Force (RPF) Training Center, Moula-Ali.

The competition which is on till December 17 has the participation of 12 RPF Band teams, including the host South Central Railway and teams from Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF), Central Railway, Eastern Railway, East Central Railway, Northern Railway, North Central Railway, North Eastern Railway, North Western Railway, West Central Railway, South East Central Railway and South Eastern Railway, accoridng to a press release.
The Band Competition was inaugurated by Sanjay Sankrityayan, IG-Director, RPF Training Centre, Moula-Ali in the presence of GM Eswara Rao, IG-Principal Chief Security Commissioner, SCR and the officers and staff of RPF.

The participating teams will be judged in three competitive events i.e. Quick March, Slow March and Overture.
