Rajendranagar police saves infant’s life with timely CPR after road accident
Rajendranagar police rescued a one-year-old infant who stopped breathing after a car accident on the Shamshabad-Aramghar route. Deputy Commissioner of Police S. Srinivas and his team administered CPR at the scene, reviving the child before shifting the injured to hospital.
Hyderabad: The Rajendranagar police rescued a one-year-old infant who had stopped breathing following a road accident, by administering timely Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and first aid.
The incident occurred on Friday night when Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rajendranagar) S. Srinivas, was conducting routine patrols in the jurisdiction.
According to police , a car travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad, lost control and crashed into a roadside tree on the Shamshabad–Aramghar route. The impact of the collision left several occupants injured, including a one-year-old child reportedly became unconscious and stopped breathing.
DCP Srinivas and his escort personnel who were nearby rushed to the accident site. Noticing the critical condition of the infant, the police team swiftly initiated Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) under the DCP’s guidance. Their persistent efforts proved successful as the child regained consciousness bringing immense relief to the distraught parents.
The police personnel then ensured that all the injured victims were shifted to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.
