Peddapalli: The family members of Ramagundam MLA Makkan Singh Raj Thakur escaped from an earthquake that occurred in Bangkok on Friday.

The MLA’s wife Manali Thakur, daughter, younger son and son-in-law went to Bangkok to attend a function on Thursday.

They stayed on the 35th floor of a hotel, which was also partially damaged in the earthquake that hit the area on Friday afternoon.

They escaped the incident unhurt and returned to India.

Knowing about the incident, Makkan Singh, who was coming to Ramagundam from Hyderabad, returned to the State capital.
