Peddapalli: Ramagiri police rescued a person who went missing in Ramagiri hillocks on Sunday.
A native of Godavarikhani town, Madasi Pocham went to Ramagiri khila to have a darshan of Lord Sri Rama on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami.
On his way to hillocks, Pocham lost the way and was trapped in the hillocks. Unable to find the way to move ahead, Pocham contacted the police by dialing 100.
Receiving information from the police control room, Ramagiri Sub-Inspector Ravi Prasad along with blue colt constable Ravinder and home guard Ravinder and with the help of Rathnapur villagers went to the spot where Pocham was trapped.
Local people appreciated the police for rescuing Pocham by responding immediately to dial 100.
