Recently married woman found hanging in Rangareddy
The woman, identified as Gauthami (21), from Manchal had an arranged marriage with one Santosh from the same mandal about a fortnight ago, in the presence of elders from both sides.
Hyderabad: A recently married woman was found hanging in her house in Manchal in Ranga Reddy district here on Thursday. Her family has alleged that harassment from her husband led to her suicide.
The woman, identified as Gauthami (21), from Manchal had an arranged marriage with one Santosh from the same mandal about a fortnight ago, in the presence of elders from both sides.
According to the police, soon after the wedding, the couple started having frequent fights.
Gauthami is suspected to have been depressed over it and other family problems and hanged herself with a dupatta from the ceiling fan in her bedroom. She was found dead by her husband who informed the Manchal police, who have registered a case and are investigating.
