The victim, identified as Saritha alias Santosh (33), was reportedly upset over some issues for past some days

An intermediate girl student, Navya died by suicide at her house in Kulsumpura in the city on Wednesday night.

The woman, identified as Gauthami (21), from Manchal had an arranged marriage with one Santosh from the same mandal about a fortnight ago, in the presence of elders from both sides.

The victim, Swapna was depressed over the death of her cousin Soni who died due to ill-health six months ago, while her uncle also died a few months ago
