Renovation, beautification works of Mulugu Collectorate at brisk pace

Mulugu: The renovation and beautification works of Mulugu District Collectorate office complex are in full swing following the special focus by District Collector S Krishna Aditya.
Landscaping and plantation of flowering plants was taken up to provide a pleasant atmosphere to staff as well as visitors to the Collectorate. While the construction of a shed for vehicle parking and toilet block was completed, works on a water tank are in progress. Besides this, the construction of the large sump was also completed.
Krishna Aditya said: “The height of the compound wall is being increased and security is being strengthened by setting 62 CCTV cameras in all sections and offices of the Collectorate. Setting up of the CCTV cameras would also help for transparent governance. Steps will be taken to ensure that vehicles coming to the office are parked outside,”
A waiting room for the visitors had also been set up on the office premises. On the other hand, the office building of the Village Revenue Officers (VROs) at the entrance had been modernized and allotted for the offices of the ITDA, Deputy Executive Engineer. The office of the District Co-ordinating Officer has also been modernized and the offices of Mulugu Revenue Divisional Officer, District Co-ordinating Officer and District Civil Affairs Officer have also been set up.
Construction of a two-suite guest house on the top floor of the office has been completed for guests.
“Attendance is being registered for officers and staff in the district through a special App called ‘Mulugu Velugu’. File management is being carried out through e-office in all offices as part of paperless governance in the district,” the Collector added.
