Karimnagar: Retired Circle Inspector of Police Dasari Bhumaiah joined TRS party in the presence of Finance Minister T Harish Rao in Huzurabad on Sunday.
Bhumaiah, who worked in different carders of the police department in the erstwhile Karimnagar district, joined the Congress party after retirement. Later, he joined hands with Teenmar Mallanna alias Chintapandu Naveen to start a voluntary organisations and take up various social programmes.
Speaking to mediapersons, Bhumaiah said he hoined hands with Mallanna to enlighten people of Telangana State, but Mallanna took several decisions without considering the views of the team members. Hence, Bhumaiah had quit Mallanna’s team and joined in TRS to serve the people of the State. At least 100 others, too joined TRS.
