HYDERABAD: After the Assembly elections in both the Telugu States, it could probably be the first occasion when Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would be participating in the same conference.

The World Telugu Federation’s (WTF) 12th Biennial International Conference would be the venue for this rare occasion. The three-day conference, which is set to commence at HICC, Madhapur, from Friday, will be inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the evening.

During the inaugural ceremony, he is expected to highlight business opportunities and share policies. He would also release the WTF’s souvenir and launch the Telugu Angels programme.

On January 5, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is likely to attend the valedictory function of the conference. As per the schedule shared by organisers, the Chief Minister would highlight key takeaways and future directions. He is also expected to release “Telugudanam – Telugu Dhanam” – a coffee table book.

In July this year, the two Chief Ministers from the Telugu States were to participate in a conference but eventually only Revanth Reddy attended the conference.

The Kamma Global Summit was organised on July 20 in the city and the Chief Minister had participated in the meeting. The organisers had announced that Chandrababu Naidu would also attend the meeting but he did not turn up.
