Revenue Inspector in ACB net in Warangal

A revenue inspector at Duggondi mandal tahsildar office in Warangal was trapped by ACB officials while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 for processing a property mutation.

Warangal: A revenue inspector working at the Duggondi mandal tahsildar office in the district was caught red-handed by ACB officials on Thursday while he was accepting a bribe from a local resident.

According to an official release, the accused G Rambabu demanded Rs 10,000 from the complainant to conduct a field enquiry and submit the verification report to the tahsildar for the mutation of his ancestral property.

The tainted money was recovered from the accused; a case was registered; he will be arrested and produced before the special judge for the Special Police Establishment (SPE) and ACB cases in Warangal, the release added.
