RGUKT-Basar students stage protest against evaluation of answer sheets
They raised doubts over the transparency in the evaluation process
Nirmal: Students staged a protest alleging that they were illegally failed, by sitting in front of the examination wing on the campus of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies (RGUKT) in Basar on Friday.
The agitating students said that they passed in their courses after applying for re-verification of marks. They regretted that they were shocked to learn that they failed in a subject.
They said that the process of evaluation of the answer sheets was flawed. They raised doubts over the transparency in the process.
However, the authorities of the university told the students that they could again apply for review of their answer sheets without paying a fee.
Accordingly, the students withdrew the protest.
