Roongta Cinemas opens first South India multiplex in Hyderabad
Roongta Cinemas has entered South India with the launch of a luxury multiplex at Novum, near Nampally Metro Station in Hyderabad. The property, opening Friday, features Dolby Atmos sound, high-definition projection, plush seating, and acoustically optimised interiors.
Hyderabad: Roongta Cinemas announced its foray into South India with the launch of a luxurious cinema in the heart of Hyderabad at Novum, near Nampally Metro Station, Nampally.
Marking a significant milestone in the brand’s Pan-India expansion journey, the new property opens its doors to audiences on Friday. Designed to redefine luxury and comfort, the new Roongta Cinemas features an ultra-premium lobby and state-of-the-art auditoriums, blending contemporary design with immersive technology, a press release said.
The multiplex is equipped with advanced Dolby sound technology and all auditoriums feature Dolby Atmos, high-definition digital projection, plush seating, and acoustically optimised interiors.
Speaking on the launch, Sanjay Barjatya, CEO, Roongta Cinemas said, “For us, Hyderabad was the most apt city to mark our entry into South India.”
Roongta Cinemas with presence across North and West India, has now set its sights on southern markets plans to expand its footprint with a sharp focus on Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
