Hyderabad: The Rotary Club of Lake District, in collaboration with Premier Energies, announced the inauguration of the Paediatric Neurology and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at NIMS Millennium Block, Punjagutta.

This state-of-the-art facility, funded by Premier Energies under its CSR Programme is a monumental step in enhancing paediatric epilepsy care in Telangana. The unit is designed to provide advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities, ensuring world-class healthcare for children with epilepsy and neurological conditions. The total expenditure on the facility exceeds Rs 2.5 crore.


The event was attended by Daniel Himelspach, Rotary International Presidents Representative from USA, Sharath Choudary, District Governor 3150 Telangana, Surender Pal Singh, Chairman – Premier Energies, Dr Bheerappa Nagari, Director, NIMS.

Rotary District Governor Sarath Choudary said the motivation behind the project was to ensure no child is deprived of the best medical care due to a lack of resources while Daniel Himelspach said these projects exemplify the Rotary Club’s commitment to sustainable development, healthcare, and social welfare. Rotary’s Governor Nominee, AKS Uday Pilani said Rotary acts as a catalyst between the government and public service wherein it solves the last mile problems.
