Speaking at the launch of Hyderabad-headquartered Premier Energies’ solar module and cell manufacturing greenfield unit at Electronic City in Maheshwaram.
These solar cells are produced from high quality silicon wafers. This launch will therefore increase the availability of highest quality made in India solar cells and contribute to the government’s Atma nirbhar Bharat initiatives.
The company introduced staggered shifts at its factory sites, one located at Annaram Village, Gummadidala and the other at Maheshwaram (M), Ranga Reddy District, Telangana. The company has a manpower of over 500 staff at its sites in total.
The new facility which will be commissioned by April, will produce over 1.5 GW per annum of solar cells and modules, and triple its production capacity
