Hyderabad: Some unidentified persons murdered Jabbar, a rowdy sheeter at Mustafa Nagar in Falaknuma here on Friday evening. The killing is suspected to be a fallout of past enmity, police said.
Jabbar (35), listed as a rowdy sheeter by the Kalapathar police, was earlier involved in the murder of another rowdy sheeter, Shanoor Ghazi, and was currently into real estate business, police said, adding that he was attacked near the City Plaza function hall in Mustafa Nagar while he was returning home after meeting a friend.
The Falaknuma police are examining the footage of surveillance cameras in the surroundings to identify the killers. Police suspect that Shanoor’s associates might be behind the murder. The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy. Two teams are on the job to identify and nab the suspects.
