Ruckus at Jyothirao Phule birth anniversary celebrations in Hyderabad
A commotion broke out during Jyothirao Phule’s birth anniversary celebrations at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad after leaders left the venue. Members of BC organisations clashed over the presentation of mementoes, protocol, and expenditure arrangements.
Hyderabad: Ruckus prevailed at Jyothirao Phule birth anniversary celebrations in Ravindra Bharathi on Saturday after a few people from BC organisations entered into arguments over arrangements and protocol.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Rajya Sabha MP R Krishnaiah, BC leader Jajula Srinivas and others participated in the programme.
However, soon after they left the venue, a commotion took place. Members from BC organisations argued with each other over the presentation of mementoes.
Members from a group argued over priority accorded to a particular group. They also argued over the arrangements and expenditure incurred for the programme, reports said.
