Rumours of Telugu actor Sharada’s death creates panic among fans
The 76-year-old actor had a long stint in Telugu cinema. She made her screen debut as a girl in the 'Kanyasulkam' that was released way back in 1955.

An act of mischief took Telugu audiences by surprise on Sunday after a news story about veteran actor Sharada’s sudden demise spread on social media. Pandemonium prevailed when scores of her fans took to social media platforms expressing condolences and tributes.
However, coming to know about the rumours, the veteran actor had to release a statement stating that she is absolutely fine and kicking.
Sharada said she is fine and her health is better and asked people not to believe in WhatsApp forwards. “I am absolutely fine and alive. Because of some irresponsible mischief mongers, people had to suffer hearing about the news. I request well-wishers, friends and fans in the media not to worry about me. It’s unfortunate to hear such malicious reports in the media and I hope those spreading false news mend their ways,” she added.

The movie features the legendary NT Rama Rao, Sowcar Janaki, Savitri in the lead roles. Later, it was in 1961, Sharada hogged limelight with the movie ‘Iddaru Mitrulu’ in which she played opposite Akkineni Nageswara Rao. The movie was a massive hit at the box office and subsequently, she was introduced to Tamil and Malayalam film industries.
