Hyderabad: About 40 Ukrainian soldiers and 10 civilians have been killed so far in Russian shelling, while the former claims that around 50 Russians occupiers have been killed.
As one would expect, two countries going for war will have social media abuzz. Ideally, one would want to see people condemning the onslaught with civilians being at grave risk. However, it is not posts of condemnations that are flooding the internet.
As #WorldWarIII is trending on Twitter, checking out the trend, surprisingly throws up loads of memes and not messages of condemnation. Make whatever you want to make out of the trend but sadly enough, memers are making merry at the time of crisis.
While on one hand, creativity and spontaneity shown by these memers is admirable, on the other hand it seems a little insensitive on the part of those making these posts especially during this grim situation.
From Vladimir Putin to Joe Biden, United Nations to Covid-19 outbreak nobody and nothing is being spared by the memers as every leader, social factor involved in the war is being ruthlessly trolled.
You love the memes or you hate them, but you definitely can’t ignore them! Take a look:
