Rythu Bharosa: Telangana’s Jagtial farmers wait for SMS on bank deposit

Jagtial: Farmers, who have been eagerly waiting for Rythu Bharosa ever since Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s assurance on Sunday, are now frequently checking messages on their mobile phones whether the amount has been deposited. Besides checking the message alerts, they are also checking their bank balance whether the amount has been deposited.
Farmers from various villages on Monday came to the Collectorate to submit a representation to the Collector during the Prajavani programme. They were seen checking messages on mobile phones while sitting on the Collectorate premises.
In their representation at the Prajavani programme, they informed officials that their crop loans were not waived. Farmers, who had crop loans of below Rs 2 lakh, also not did get the benefit, they said.
Besides the crop loan waiver, the Rythu Bharosa financial assistance was also not given to them yet, they said and requested the officials to take the initiative to waive their crop loans and provide Rythu Bharosa.
