Sampoornesh Babu extends Rs 25 lakh towards a child’s treatment
According to the details, couple Sankoji Lavanya and Ramesh Babu, who belongs to Ramannapet near Vemulawada in Rajanna Sircilla district, gave birth to a baby boy a couple of months ago.
Hyderabad: Telugu actor-comedian Sampoornesh Babu has extended financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh toward the medical treatment of a child who is suffering from a heart disease.
According to the details, couple Sankoji Lavanya and Ramesh Babu, who belongs to Ramannapet near Vemulawada in Rajanna Sircilla district, gave birth to a baby boy a couple of months ago. The child fell sick about a month ago and the family shifted the baby to a hospital in Hyderabad for a surgery. Coming to know about the plight of the family through social media leads, the actor responded and offered monetary help of Rs 25 lakh toward the treatment.
He met the family and handed a cheque of Rs 25 lakh to them. It is also learnt that villagers too have joined hands and contributed money close to Rs 1 lakh.
It may be recalled that the actor also helped two girls who lost their parents in July last year. Sampoornesh Babu assisted the two girls with Rs 25,000 when they lost their parents during the pandemic. The actor even shared this on his Twitter page.
