Samsung debuts Odyssey G7 monitors and expands 3D gaming ecosystem at Gamescom 2025
Samsung unveiled its new Odyssey G7 monitors at Gamescom 2025, featuring large-screen options, advanced gaming features, and HDR performance. The company also expanded its glasses-free 3D gaming ecosystem with new partnerships, while showcasing Odyssey OLED monitors with Blizzard and Pearl Abyss.

Hyderabad: Samsung Electronics unveiled its latest large-screen Odyssey G7 monitors at Gamescom 2025, the world’s largest gaming event, held in Cologne from August 20 to 24. Alongside the new models, Samsung showcased its expanding glasses-free Odyssey 3D gaming ecosystem and announced fresh collaborations with major global game publishers and developers.

We will continue to lead the premium gaming monitor market by enhancing hardware performance and deepening strategic partnerships.”
Samsung has retained its position as the world’s No.1 gaming monitor brand for six consecutive years, holding an 18.9% global market share in Q1 2025, according to International Data Corporation (IDC). In Europe, it leads the regional market with a 24.6% share.
Odyssey G7 highlights
The new Odyssey G7 (G75F) comes in two sizes: a 37-inch 4K UHD (3,840×2,160) with a 16:9 aspect ratio and Samsung’s first 40-inch Wide UHD (5,120×2,160) with a 21:9 aspect ratio. Both models expand Samsung’s large-format monitor lineup beyond the existing 32- and 43-inch options.

- Ergonomic design with height adjustment, tilt, and swivel
Visitors at Gamescom can try the Odyssey G7 displays by playing Genshin Impact at Samsung’s booth in Hall 9. The monitor is already available in Korea and the U.S. and will launch in Europe in September.
Odyssey 3D and new partnerships
Samsung also announced new collaborations with Netmarble and SHIFT UP. Gamescom visitors can experience MONGIL: STAR DIVE and Stellar Blade in glasses-free 3D for the first time on the Odyssey 3D monitor (G90XF).
The company’s dedicated Odyssey 3D Hub currently offers more than 25 3D-supported titles, with plans to expand the library to over 50 by year’s end, including Lies of P: Overture, Stellar Blade and MONGIL: STAR DIVE.
Premium OLED showcase
Samsung is also expanding partnerships with leading studios, including Blizzard and Pearl Abyss, by supplying flagship Odyssey OLED monitors across Gamescom 2025.
The World of Warcraft booth features over 80 gaming stations powered by the 500Hz Odyssey OLED G6.
Pearl Abyss is running its upcoming open-world RPG Crimson Desert on nearly 180 Odyssey OLED G6 and G8 monitors, showcasing 500Hz responsiveness and 4K, 240Hz performance.
Visitors can explore Samsung’s exhibition at Gamescom 2025 in Hall 9, Booths B030 and C031.
