Vikarabad: Lagacherla farmers, who were put up in Sangareddy jail, were released and slammed the Revanth Reddy government for booking false cases against them.

Turning emotional, they thanked the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), especially working president KT Rama Rao for supporting them during the tough times.

The farmers vociferously raised objection over the government’s land acquisition and demanded the government to scrap the cases booked against them. The farmers also announced that they would not part their lands.

Former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy spoke to the farmers, who were out on bail and assured them that BRS party would continue support to them. Sangareddy BRS leaders, including Buchireddy, Venkateshwarlu and others felicitated the farmers.

Girijan Seva Samithi leaders, including Jaipal Naik and Rajender Naik also felicitated the tribal farmers.
