Sangareddy: Sangareddy Rural Police have come to the rescue of a four year-old-boy and his grandfather while they were begging at Jeans Corner near Pothireddypally junction in Sangareddy town.
The police led by the Sub-Inspector of Police Subhash have identified Nagaraju (4) and his grandfather Dugraiah (55) begging. While the temperatures were rising in the town, Durgaiah and Nagaraju were seen sleeping along the roads for the past 15 days. The police, who reached the spot, have served food, water, and presented them new cloths to both the boy and his grandfather.
When enquired about Nagaraju’s parents, Durgaiah, a resident of Narayankhed, said that his daughter Padma and son-in-law died three years, leaving their only son orphaned. The Police have shifted them to Sishu Gruha with the help.
