Sangareddy: Superintendent of Police (SP) Paritosh Pankaj has called upon road users to avoid driving vehicles from 1 am to 8 am as dense fog envelops the roads during these hours.
The police examined the busy NH-65 and NH-161 on Friday morning.
In a press statement, the SP issued safety guidelines for motorists to ensure a safe journey for them. Even if they travel under unavoidable circumstances, Paritosh suggested they always turn on the low-beam lights and parking lights, besides restricting speed.
He also asked them to wear seat belts and suggested bike riders wear helmets. The SP said that drivers can not see oncoming vehicles due to dense fog covering the roads. The police official also educated bike riders to use hand gloves for better grip on the handle.
