Sangareddy: Woman ends life in Ameenpur due to fear of ants
A 28-year-old woman from Ameenpur reportedly ended her life, unable to cope with her extreme fear of ants, known as myrmecophobia. The incident came to light after her parents filed a complaint. Police have registered a case and begun an investigation.

Sangareddy: Excessive fear of ants is believed to have driven a woman to suicide in Ameenpur on Tuesday night.
The incident came to light late on Saturday after the woman’s parents lodged a complaint at the Ameenpur police station on Wednesday.
The woman, Manisha, 28, was said to be suffering from an intense fear of ants, known as myrmecophobia. Ameenpur police registered a case and launched an investigation. She is survived by her husband and two children.
