Hyderabad: Sankranti was celebrated with great fervour at Delhi Public School, Nadergul on January 7.
The festival which stands as an example of our Indian culture and tradition is celebrated every year by the students depicting the importance of the festival.
The special assembly with festive vibes began with a prayer song followed by a special Telugu song conveying the importance of Sankranti.
To embrace the culture of celebrating the harvest festival, the highly energetic dancers rocked the stage with their ecstatic dance performances.
Students of high school took the podium as an opportunity to share their knowledge about the significance of the harvest festival.
Principal Padma Jyothi Turaga addressed the children and wished them on account of the festival and praised them for their wonderful performances.
The entire event which was hosted and conducted successfully by students, Language and PVA Departments received a humongous applaud from the audience.
