School bus catches fire in Medak
A school bus belonging to Akshara Techno School in Ramayampet caught fire in Narsingi mandal headquarters on Wednesday night, reportedly due to a short circuit. The bus had been parked after dropping students when smoke began to emanate, followed by flames engulfing the vehicle.

The bus belonged to Akshara Techno School in Ramayampet and was parked in Narsingi after dropping school children on Wednesday. An hour later, smoke started emanating from the bus and flames soon engulfed it.
Local residents responded quickly and doused the fire before calling the Fire & Rescue Services personnel. They said a major accident was averted since the incident happened after students had been dropped off.
