SCR GM Srivastava inspects Charlapalli terminal , inaugurates new facilities

South Central Railway General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava inspected the newly developed Charlapalli Railway Station on Friday. He inspected the proposed new entry alignment to Platform No.1 and planted saplings, underscoring the Railways’ commitment to sustainability and infrastructure development.

Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, inspected the newly developed Charlapalli Railway Station on Friday.

During the visit, the General Manager inaugurated the new Running Room and Crew Lobby provided for train running staff and reviewed facilities such as air-conditioned accommodation, computerised bed management, kitchen, CCTV surveillance and rest areas.

He also inspected the Intermediate Overhauling shed, reviewed coach maintenance facilities, and examined the Amrit Bharat train rake.

Srivastava further inspected the proposed new entry alignment to Platform No.1 and planted saplings at the station, highlighting the Railways’ focus on sustainability and infrastructure development. Senior officials were also present.
