All the medallists in the YAI Secunderabad Club GMR Sports Youth Open Regatta in Hyderabad on Saturday
Hyderabad: Shringhari Roy of the Secunderabad Sailing Club emerged as the standout performer, winning the Optimist Main girls’ title with a flawless record in the sixth YAI Secunderabad Club GMR Sports Youth Open Regatta at Hussain Sagar Lake here on Saturday.
The Secunderabad Sailing Club also won gold in the 420 girls’ class through Ishi Gupta and Diya Ajay Patel. B Ravi Kumar of the Telangana Sailing Association dominated the Optimist Main boys’ fleet.
In the Optimist team racing event, considered the most tactical format in the sport, Trishna Sailing Club was crowned champion after a deciding final race against the Telangana Sailing Association.
