Tournaments like these not only unite our community but also highlight the world-class potential of Indian sport.”
The Organising Committee and the Government of Odisha jointly extended the invitation to Sharath Kamal, recognising his stature as the face of Indian table tennis. His participation in promoting the championships is expected to enhance visibility and encourage more young people to take up the sport.
Sharath Kamal will arrive in Bhubaneswar on October 9 and will participate in the inaugural ceremony the following day. His presence is set to add prestige to the opening of what promises to be a historic and high-energy championship for Asia and for India.
