Hyderabad: The Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and Cyberabad Police have jointly announced a first ever Short Film Contest on Cyber Crimes.
After conducting three successful editions of Short Film Contest on Road Safety, SCSC in collaboration with Cyberabad Police and START Foundation have now decided to hold a contest on the subject of cybercrimes with an aim to create awareness among the public.
Those interested to participate in the contest can send entries with the duration of the video being within 60 seconds to 120 seconds. Videos can be made in Telugu or Hindi or English and all dialogues must have English subtitles, irrespective of the language of the video.
A compressed video of the short film should be shared in order to enter the contest and upon winning the prize, the highest quality source must be provided in the aspect ratio of 1920×1080. Individuals or organisations interested in participating may do so by registering for expression of interest by November 15 and have to brief on the topic on November 16
The topics that must be considered for making the short film are KYC Update Fraud; Investment Fraud; House Rent Fraud; Advertisement Fraud and Customer Care Fraud. The last date for submission of the video is November 30.
The winner and runner-up will receive a cash prize of Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively.
