Hyderabad: Medipally police station sub-inspector Ch Yadagiri was caught red handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) when he allegedly demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs.10,000 from one N Prashanth of Bodduppal for doing an official favour.
Yadagiri allegedly demanded bribe from Prashant, who is a student, to cooperate with him in the investigation of an accident case registered on December 1, 2021 at the police station, according to a press release.
The ACB officials recovered the tainted amount from the sub-inspector and produced him before the special court for ACB cases here after which the court remanded him to judicial custody.
