Siddipet ACP disguises as common man to inspect lockdown enforcement
The police stopped him at several places though he told them that he was going to a medical shop to get a tablet.
Siddipet: To check the enforcement of the lockdown in Siddipet town, ACP inspected the enforcement of the lockdown in a unique way on Monday late night. Dressed in civilian clothes and wearing a muffler, ACP Rameshwar went around the town crossing various check-posts.
The police stopped him at several places though he told them that he was going to a medical shop to get a tablet. Though he tried to convince them saying that he was suffering from fever, they stopped him. However, one policeman refused to allow him any further unless he showed a medical prescription.
Rameshwar tried to connect to the PA of the Minister with a woman police constable who stopped him but she refused to talk on the phone.
The ACP said that he wanted to take first hand information to know how their staff were enforcing the lockdown in Siddipet town by making rounds as a civilian. His unique inspection took many staff members by surprise as they could not identify their boss. Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police has appreciated Rameshwar for his efforts.
