Four daughters of Siddipet couple crack MBBS in six years

Siddipet: In a rare achievement, four daughters of a couple secured MBBS seats in different medical colleges in the last six years.
The couple, Konka Ramachandram and Sarada, had four daughters. While Mamatha, the eldest of the four, joined MBBS in 2018 and completed her degree, the second one Madhavi joined MBBS in 2020.
The couple’s twin daughters Rohini and Roshini cracked the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) by scoring 587 and 536 marks respectively and got admission in MBBS this year.
When the couple met with former Minister T Harish Rao seeking financial aid to meet their hostel expenses, Rao congratulated them and assured all support. Rao said Mamatha, Madhavi, Rohini and Roshini had become a source of inspiration for the younger generation.
Speaking to Telangana Today, Ramachandram, a tailor by profession, said his twin daughters got MBSS in the Government Medical College in Jagtial this year. Saying that his daughters could get the MBBS seats because the seats were increased by manifold post the formation of Telangana by former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
The proud father, Ramachandram, a resident of Narsapur area in Siddipet town, said his eldest daughter was preparing for the PG entrance while the second daughter was in the fourth year of her medicine course.
