Siddipet: Stray dog attack kills 40 sheep in Lakshmakkapally

As many as 40 sheep were killed in a stray dog attack at Lakshmakkapally village on Sunday night. The farmer, who depended on sheep rearing for livelihood, has appealed to the government for compensation, estimating losses at nearly Rs 10 lakh.

Siddipet: As many as 40 sheep died in an attack by a pack of stray dogs in n Lakshmakkapally on Sunday night.

According to villagers, the farmer Devi Ravi used to eke out livelihood by rearing sheep in the village. He kept a herd of sheep in his shed on Sunday night. When he returned to shed on Monday night, Ravi found 40 of them dead in a pool of blood. Ravi pleaded the government to extend help to him as he sustained nearly Rs 10 lakh loss.
