Siddipet youth killed in gelatin stick explosion at Karnataka

The victim was identified as Chikkudu Murali, who was working as computer operator with Brahmara Vasinin Stone Limited Mining Company for over 6 years

Siddipet: A youth from Tukkapur village of Thoguta Mandal in Siddipet district died in the gelatin stick explosion at a quarry at Hirengaveli village in Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka State during the intervening hours of Monday and Tuesday.

The victim was identified as Chikkudu Murali, who was working as computer operator with Brahmara Vasinin Stone Limited Mining Company for over 6 years. The victim along with five other colleagues was carrying the gelatin sticks when the incident occurred.

The body is expected to reach Tukkapur late Tuesday night.
