Villagers from Penchikalpet mandal in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district have accused a computer operator of collecting Rs 26 lakh in bribes for land titles and partitioning of assets on the Bhu Bharati portal. The accused is said to have cheated many more applicants and faced similar corruption charges earlier at Rebbena MRO’s office.

Briefing the media, Ramagundam Commissioner of Police V Satynarayana said the accused was Pudari Naresh Goud, a native of Nennal mandal centre.

The victim was identified as Chikkudu Murali, who was working as computer operator with Brahmara Vasinin Stone Limited Mining Company for over 6 years
