Sangareddy: The death toll in the Sigachi Industries Limited blast rose to 46 as another employee of the company, Diwakar (46), succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital on Thursday night.

However, the officials have still not traced eight other employees, even 18 days after the accident occurred in Pashamylaram industrial area.

The missing workers were identified as Rahul Kumar Sharma (Uttar Pradesh), G Venkatesh (Andhra Pradesh), S Ravi (Telangana), S Justin (Telangana), Vijay Kumar Nishad (Uttar Pradesh), Akilesh Kumar Nishad (Uttar Pradesh), Irfan Ansari (Jharkhand), and Shivaji Kumar (Bihar).
