Sikh Sangat marks 350th martyrdom anniversary with procession and prayers
As part of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahibji, a Shaheedi Nagar Kirtan departed from Gurdwara Sahib Sikh Chawniat in Hyderabad towards Vijayawada. The event featured a Kirtan Darbar with Gurbani recitations and sermons, attended by prominent Sikh leaders including Giani Raghbir Singh.

Hyderabad: As part of the 350th martyrdom anniversary commemorations of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahibji, the Shaheedi Nagar Kirtan which was in the city departed from Gurdwara Sahib Sikh Chawniat, Barambala, Kishanbagh, Hyderabad towards Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh.
Head Granthi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, Golden Temple, Amritsar, Giani Raghbir Singh, Takhat Kesgarh Sahib, Anandpur Sahib, Punjab, S Sultan Singh and other important dignitaries participated in the programme.
Before the departure of Nagar Kirtan towards Vijayawada, a Kirtan Darbar was held at the Gurdwara Sahib Sikh Chawniat, Kishanbagh where Ragi Jathas recited Gurubani Kirtans and religious sermons and discourses on Gurbani recited by the Ninth Guru and shared episodes from Guru Sahib’s life.
Nagar Kirtan led by the Panj Payras and the Holy Guru Granth Sahib was taken in a procession with full gaiety for the Sikh Sangat and residents to seek blessings at their doorstep.
