Rajanna-Sircilla: Collector Anurag Jayanthi made a surprise visit to the district headquarters hospital on Wednesday. He visited and examined facilities in the dialysis ward, general ICU, Covid ICU, maternity ward and other sections of the hospital.
Interacting with lactating women, Collector enquired about the treatment being provided in the hospital. Stating that it was decided to establish a 30-bed pediatric ICU ward in the hospital, he instructed the panchayatraj engineer to prepare proposals for a pediatric ward.
He instructed the hospital superintendent to display the details of medicine available in the pharmacy on a digital signboard. Instructing officials to develop the hospital garden with the cooperation of municipal authorities, he said it would help the patient attendants relax. Anurag Jayanthi also instructed officials to take steps to resume solar plants. He wanted to make arrangements to perform postmortem during the night since the government has issued orders in this regard.
He instructed officials to arrange new lights in the Operation Theater and provide better treatment to patients. Doctors and other staff should discharge duties with responsibility. Hospital superintendent Dr Muralidhar Rao, Panchayatraj EE Srinivas Rao, doctors and staff were present.
