Rajanna-Sircilla: Head constable from the district, B Ramesh died of heat stroke at Sammakka-Sarakka jatara, Medaram of Mulugu district on Tuesday morning.
Ramesh, who is working with Ghambiraopet police, was drafted for security duties at Medaram jatara security duties. While he was posted at the exit gate of the main jatara site, he suffered a massive heart stroke in the morning and died on the spot.
Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao, Sircilla DSP Chandrashekhar, CI Mogili and Ghambiraopet SI Mahesh expressed their deep condolences over the death of head constable.
DSP and CI assured to provide full assistance to the family of the deceased policeman. A native of Thigalaguttapalli of Karimnagar, Ramesh was transferred to Ghambiraopet police station in recent transfers.
