Six arrested for forgery in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Medchal police arrested six persons on charges of forging documents pertaining to a land parcel owned by an NRI and selling it.
The arrested persons were S Amarender (50) from HMT Colony in Nacharam, B Ramarao (60) from Moosarambagh, Ch Naveen Kumar (48) from Begumpet, M Sathyanarayana (60) from Ranga Reddy district, D Muralidhar Rao (68) from Dilsukhnagar and K Shiva Kumar (43) from Amberpet. Three suspects, B Maheshwar Yadav, N Srinivas and K Deepika, were absconding.
According to the police, the suspects forged General Power of Attorney documents for a plot in Balaji Nagar in 2009, by impersonating the original owner B Samuel Samson (62), a retired teacher residing in New South Wales in Australia. They then executed a sale deed and sold the land, the police said, adding that based on a complaint from G Vijayasaradi, Samson’s brother-in-law, the Medchal police booked a case and nabbed the suspects.
