Hyderabad: In a tragic road accident, six persons were killed after a speeding car rammed into a stationary lorry at the 16th exit point of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Shamshabad on Friday.
According to reports, the car bearing registration number TS 23 F 2298, which was travelling at high speed from Pedda Golconda towards Shamshabad, crashed into the rear of a parked truck.
The impact was so severe that the front portion of the car got wedged under the truck, leaving the vehicle completely mangled.
All six occupants of the car reportedly died on the spot. The victims reportedly included two women and two children.
The Shamshabad police reached the spot and took up the investigation.
