Several passengers sustained minor injuries after a speeding DCM van hit a TGSRTC bus from behind at Aramghar in Rajendranagar early Friday. The injured were given first aid at a local hospital, while police detained the DCM driver.

Police said Gopi Priya was riding her scooter from Miyapur to her home when the accident took place. As she approached the UPHC in Madinaguda, an unidentified vehicle hit her scooter, causing her to lose balance and fall onto the road.
The traffic constable allegedly attempted to stop Joshi Babu by grabbing his collar, causing the carpenter to lose control of his bike and fall onto the road. A passing TGSRTC bus then ran over him, resulting in his instant death.
Police said that MD Ghousuddin (59) from CCC (Coal Chemical Complex) area in Naspur mandal was wounded seriously when the auto-rickshaw dashed the bus stationed on a road
